Fabric Pop Up Stands

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

I you are a regular exhibitor or perhaps a regular visitor to exhibitions then yo may have noticed that a new style of pop up displays stand has been growing slowly but surely in popularity. These are the more commonly seen fabric pop up stands which are rapidly catching the traditional pop up in terms of popularity. The advantages of a fabric pop up are that they tend to be lighter in weight than the traditional magnetic pop ups. They are also fast d easy to assemble in general. This is important where there are short lead times involved, and set up times come to that. Fewer parts to lose means fewer delays and smoother exhibitions!

We recently dealt with the subject of pop up banner stands and their various applications and uses. We have since heard from a couple of exhibitors asking to go into more despatch about the differences between banner stands, roller banner stands, cassette banners  stands, tension banner stand and pop up banners as well as outdoor pop up banner, pop up stands, pop up displays, pop up exhibition stands and outdoor pop up display stands (yes, we do have some!). Well, what they all have in common is the fact that they are all low cost, portable, easy to install in minutes and provide high impact branding wherever you set up.

Caring for your Pop Up Stand Graphics

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

A number of people have asked our advice on caring for popup and rollup graphics -  pop up stands and banner stands.

Having discussed pull up stands in some detail in previous posts here are some tips relating to pop up stands.

Our Pop Up graphics are very robust and hard wearing. However, they can sustain damage if handled incorrectly. There are two golden rules to follow:

1) If you roll your pop up graphic up with the printed image on the INSIDE then there is every chance that the lamination will be forced to detach from the printed graphic, resulting in what appears to be bubbling. This effect can also be achieved by applying pressure to the graphic. So, ALWAYS ROLL YOUR GRAPHIC WITH THE PRINTED IMAGE ON THE OUTSIDE!!

2) Never FOLD or TWIST your pop up graphic, this will result in permanent creasing. Always handle your graphic gently and carefully.
