An Exhibition Stand for All Seasons!

Friday, September 24th, 2010

A question we are asked virtually every day of every week in the year runs along the lines of “What would you recommend, we want a re-usable exhibition stand which we can install ourselves, which we can update easily and at low cost, which will fit into the back of my car, which will last at least a few dozen shows, which won’t cost me the earth to buy, which can be added to so that I can  use it as the basis for larger stand spaces I might purchase in the future. Well, there is no doubt that The 3D Centre has the answer.

Transporting An Exhibition Stand

Sunday, September 19th, 2010

If you are an exhibitor then you Will know that exhibition stands can be on the larger side, depending ion the style that you are using! The 3D Centre boasts a wide range of portable exhibition stands which are specifically designed to pack down into totally manageable package. A prime example is our range of pop up stands. They pack down into a wheeled transit case the size of a large suitcase. They are compact enough to fit in the boot of or on the back seat of most cars. How’s that for portability! Another advantage is that these are generally small enough to be transported by air easily enough.

End caps on pop up stands

Saturday, September 18th, 2010

We are often asked about the best possible way to set up artwork for the end caps on a pop up stand. For those of you who havenot set up an artwork for a pop up stand before then there are some factors to take into account. When you are setting up your artwork you of course set it up as a  flat canvas in a two dimensional manner. However, a quick glance at an assembled pop up shows that the extreme and right ends fold around to the back of the stand to form the end caps. So, when setting up your artwork take this into account!

Colour reproduction - large format digital

Friday, September 17th, 2010

We are regularly asked about colour repro issues with our digital printers. State of the art digital printers have a massive capability for colour accuracy. The key to truly excellent colour reproduction lies in many areas, the quality of the inks used, type of inks, type of material, brand, batch etc. etc. In a nutshell there are many many variables which determine the ultimate quality of your print. An old chestnut is also the issue of colour matching. We have excellent capabilities in this area. Just set up your artwork with the pantone references in place and we will be able to match your colour very well indeed.

Exhibition Frame Systems

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

So, frame system or pop up - which is it to be? We have discussed the frame system at some length. A pop up on the other hand is a fixed size, albeit they are available in many different straight and curved formats. They can be joined together to form different shapes and extended display walls as well as used independently in a stand alone situation. The advantages of a pop up come in the form of reduced set up time as well as breakdown and pack away. A frame system, will require a little more in terms of installation and set up. However, there is certainly a reward to be had in terms of flexibility.
