A visit to London’s Excel, Olympia, Earl’s Court, Business Design Centre, Royal Horticultural Halls or any of the capitals exhibition centres can only serve to reinforce the notion that the nation’s exhibition and event industry is in extremely rude health. A visit to Glasgow, Manchester or, of course, the NEC will underline this fact. Despite all the talk of recession the exhibition industry continues to develop, flourish and grow. The importance of effective on on one marketing has become even greater with a virtual internet all but cutting off customer communication face to face with the seller. Precious opportunities to meet buyers, clients , customers - call them what you will, are more and more rare.
