We are particularly proud of a number of recent large scale pop up projects which we have undertaken. Without exaggeration, we are asked at least twice every day to explain to our new clients the meaning of the pop up stand descriptors. 3×1, 3×2, 3×3, 3×4, 3×5, 3×6 and so on and so forth. Understandably the great majority of the uninitiated quickly conclude that these descriptors refer to the size or floor area that the pop up stand in question covers.

Perversely these numerical descriptors actually refer to the number or “squares” or “quads” that the pop up frame makes when it is assembled. Nothing to do with actual dimensions, nothing to do with floorspace covered.
