Well, 2011 has got off to a cracking start here at The 3D Centre. We are pleased to say that we have won a major contract to support the launch a high profile consumer electronics “gadget” (that’s all we can tell you right now as the project is under wraps until launch day!). We will be supplying pop up exhibition stands for a regional blitz followed by a national roll out which will keep us very busy indeed for the next month or two. In addition we will be launching two new banner stands in the next few weeks which we hope will provide exhibitors with some attractive new options at low cost.

I switched on the radio today and heard the news that one of the world’s largest advertising agency groups had experienced a sharp uplift in business in the last year. Revenues and profits were both showing a significant improvement over the previous couple of years which had been somewhat overshadowed by the global recession. Had the gentleman delivering this good news been working in the exhibition industry he may well have been even more positive about the future of this particular sector. Exhibitions are on the up and up, both in number and in size with ever growing numbers of exhibitors keen to find and exploit opportunities to touch base one on one with their client and potential customers.

It will not come as news to anyone that attendance at exhibitions can generate rich rewards for the effective exhibitor. Exhibition and event activity have survived the more general economic downturn with surprising resilience.
