So, frame system or pop up - which is it to be? We have discussed the frame system at some length. A pop up on the other hand is a fixed size, albeit they are available in many different straight and curved formats. They can be joined together to form different shapes and extended display walls as well as used independently in a stand alone situation. The advantages of a pop up come in the form of reduced set up time as well as breakdown and pack away. A frame system, will require a little more in terms of installation and set up. However, there is certainly a reward to be had in terms of flexibility.

I was today asked by a client about the potential advantages and disadvantages of a frame system as opposed to a regular pop up stand. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with our frame systems (frame systems is a 3D Centre term coined to describe any metal frame system which accept graphics, either mechanically or magnetically, the term is a broad one but helps us differentiate this style of product). When you start to analyse the differences it is easy to see the most suitable applications for each type of product. The frame system requires no tools with the exception of a hex or Allen key. At most exhibitions you will be able to see many examples.

In a recent post we talked about the excellent Aero system. launched in the last couple of years this relatively recent addition to our range of display products has already established itself as a firm favourite amongst our clients. The key features which make this item so attractive are low cost, extreme ease of use, light weight, large graphic area, ease of transportation and attractive look and feel. In terms of flexibility the Aero can be angled to fit any space. The graphic cartridges come in both 1m wide and 1.5m versions which are totally interchangeable with each other. A great buy!

For those of you who are regular users of frame systems like Linear, Metro or Octanorm or those of you who often use pop ups and banner stands there are many altarenative systems available to you that might suit your purpose. One of our favourite systems is the Aero modular display system. It really is very clever. Like all the best ideas it is incredibly simple in concept. First step is to assemble a series of upright posts which come complete with good stable bases. Next you simply lift the graphic cassette into place on top of two posts and, hey presto, once you have pulled down the window blind style graphic, you have a complete display, ready to go!

The business case for your exhibition display is crystal clear. A better display will generate higher levels of interest in your product and that, in turn, can only result in more attention, more leads, a fatter sales pipeline and more business from both existing and new customers. Spend on an exhibition display must be seen as a genuine investment from which your organisation should absolutely expect to derive a significant return on investment. With the shape of the media landscape constantly shifting the need to communicate one on one with your target market is an ever more essential part of your marketing thrust.
